Buyers world-wide eagerly searched for Easter Eggs in the April edition of The 4-yr-old Luigi d’Eclipse daughter Lapsana Z set the auction record with a price of 30,000 euro and will depart to Bulgaria.

The most recent auction from Alan Waldman and Mario Everse again resulted in a lot of travelling. The sold talents will fly out all over the world. Eleven auction horses will follow the American dream. Spain claimed five horses and, besides other European countries, even Egypt, Morocco and Armenia did some successful shopping.

Mario Everse, just at the Italian show in Arezzo, says: “The auction went well again! We did not have any highlights this time, but on the whole the horses sold well. Our aim always is to create an auction that reflects the market, meaning one that has high and smaller prices. In that way everyone can find something in our collection and fortunately also this time both the buyers and the sellers were happy. The more expensive horses were claimed by regular clients. They have benefited from our auction several times already and again demonstrated their confidence in us. The auction collection also catered for new buyers. It is great to see that the scope of the auction continues to grow.”

The 4-yr-old mare Lapsana Z (Luigi d’Eclipse x Corrado I) was claimed by Bulgary for 30,000 euro. The record-setter was closely followed by three horses that for 28,000 euro each will go to North America. The 4-yr-old Ongering (Verdi x Concorde) was one of these three and will pursue his career in Mexico, same as the 5-yr-old Quick Pleasure (Quickly de Kreisker x For Pleasure) for 20,000 euro.

The also 5-yr-old mare Brantina (Brantzau x Zirocco Blue VDL) and the 14-yr-old veteran Veyron Lassergut (Hym d’Isigny x Caletto I) also went for 28,000 euro. These two will be accompanied on their journey to the USA by Nox van de Moleneed Z (Nixon van ’t Meulenhof x Marius Claudius). For the 5-yr-old great-grandson of Narcotique de Muze the virtual hammer dropped at 25,000 euro.

Selection day on 19 April
And, as always, the next is already being planned. The selection-/video-day will be on Wednesday 19 April next at Stal Everse in Waddinxveen and the auction (already the 35th edition) will end on Tuesday 2 May.

“We have a good feeling about the next edition. We hope to again present a handsome collection of free jumping talents and great horses under saddle. When people have something really special to offer, they can enter these horses via,” Mario Everse concludes.
