The two-year-old Thor immediately stands out with his excellent jumping technique, bascule and carefulness. His jumping talent comes as no surprise, given his pedigree.

The 1.65m GP stallion Utamaro d’Ecaussines Z first rose to fame with Joe Clee. Later, he participated in the World Equestrian Games of Tryon under William Whitaker and won the World Cup at London Olympia. He concluded his career under Niels Bruynseels, with whom he placed second in the Nations Cup of La Baule and fifth in the LGCT GP of Cascais Estoril. 

His dam Jikke is a daughter of Caretino Gold and the famous Audi’s Jikke (Concorde x Pantheon xx), who jumped with Eric van der Vleuten with great success. This top-quality mare was carefully developed over the years, competing at CHIO Aachen, three World Cup Finals, and reaching the #1 spot on the WBFSH rankings.

Jikke’s son Vleut jumped 1.60m Grand Prix under the name Gucci with Edwina Tops-Alexander. Her grandson Elwikkeis currently competing at 1.60m Grand Prix level with Maikel van der Vleuten.

Note: The two-year-old horses in this auction have not yet undergone radiological examinations. These young horses are still in full development. The sellers have chosen not to have them X-rayed until they are 18 months old. Any radiological examinations can be carried out in consultation and at the buyer's expense.
