The four-year-old Rafaella is definitely one to watch. With this much quality, she is a horse we will undoubtedly hear much more from in the future. She jumps with a powerful thrust, is lightning fast off the ground, has just the right amount of blood and shows tremendous scope.

Her sire, VDL Mindset ES, a son of the top stallion Aganix du Seigneur, is developing impressively in sport. He recently made a successful debut in the 4* 1.50m classes with Hessel Hoekstra (NED). His dam, Hosanne ES (by Kannan), also competed internationally at 1.45m level and has produced multiple international showjumpers.

The dam, Mirage, is a Ster mare by the 1.50m stallion Gen, himself a son of Zirocco Blue VDL.
