ABOUT

The six-year-old mare Odessy BH first produced a foal and has only been under saddle since January. As a result, she is still relatively green for her age, yet she has already gained experience at 1.10m level, gives here rider a great feeling of power ofer the fence and is now ready to develop her sport career. 

Her natural ability is no coincidence: her pedigree combines three stallions who performed at the very top of the sport and have significantly shaped modern showjumping breeding: Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN, Verdi TN and Cento.

Her sire, Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN, needs little introduction. Ridden by Willem Greve, the Clinton son out of the 1.60m mare Bijou Orai competed at the highest level. Eldorado is equally impressive as a breeding stallion; with offspring such as Killerqueen, Electric Blue, Grandorado TN and Highway M TN, he has firmly established his status as a world-class producer.

The dam, Impressive BH, is a Ster mare by Verdi, formerly a top mount of Maikel van der Vleuten. The granddam, Cartania 45, competed at 1.35m level herself and produced an international 1.45m level jumper. She carries the valuable blood of Cento, the Capitol I son who won team gold at the Sydney Olympic Games under Otto Becker.
