ABOUT
You don’t have to be tall to jump with scope and quality. Many top-class horses have proved this, such as Itot du Chateau and H&M All-in. The 4-yr-old Midas (saddle broken) is just such a horse. He displays a lot of quality over the fence and he jumps with power and a quick take-off.
Sire Eldorado van de Zeshoek is on his way to become a foundation stallion. At CHIO Aachen his offspring even won the Grand Prix of Europe (Electric Blue) and the Rolex Grand Prix (Killer Queen) recently.
Midas’ dam Vubertha (Mermus R x Joost x Abgar xx) did a good EPTM with a 9 for take-off and eights for scope and talent for showjumping. She later jumped at 1.40m level, like her half-brother Damon (Massimo). Vubertha’s half-sister Mubertha (Burggraaf) produced, amongst others, Fubertha (1.50m level), Humbertha (1.45m level), Nubertus Z (1.45m level) and the international showjumping stallion Romo.
Out of the same family come the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Rubert R (rider Peter Charles), Balaboeska R (Jeroen Dubbeldam) and Titanic (Lorette Knowles-Taylor).
