KORDON VDL

ABOUT

Kordon VDL (Glenfiddich VDL x Kreator xx) is an eleven-year-old dark bay gelding: a very handsome, imposing appearance. He remained a stallion for a long time and was gelded not so long ago. He already has a great deal of experience, even at 1.50m level.

He has a very good attitude, easy scope and wants to be careful. He gives the rider a safe feeling, takes you nicely to the fence, has a lovely jumping style and does his best every time. He is easy to ride and also goes nicely on the flat. Our rider Roosje rode him and felt that he gives his rider a lot of confidence.

We think he is a fantastic amateur horse, and a very useful horse for anyone looking for a second or third horse to ride the bigger classes with. An asset for many an amateur.

Sire
Glenfiddich VDL is a son of Bacardi VDL and has well over three hundred offspring, including:
• Lesther – 1.65m
• Lancaster W – 1.60m
• Leandro – 1.55m

Dam
Anoulavsca Fortuna, a daughter of Kreator xx, produced Brighton Bay (1.50m), the approved KWPN stallion Portlaw Keizersberg and the eventer Gold Rush, who won the CCIO4* in Strzegom.

Granddam
Vorione Fortuna, by Orion Fortuna, jumped 1.45m herself and produced Immer Fortuna (1.50m).

Dam line
Third dam Mhilavsca Fortuna produced:
• Entertainer – 1.60m, approved KWPN
• Zellobee – 1.55m
• Bull Run's Divine Fortune – 1.55m
The line of fourth dam Ilavsca Fortuna includes Bulavsco (1.60m) and Queen Jane (1.60m).

Kordon VDL combines his experience at 1.50m and his easy character with a Fortuna damline that has produced horses up to 1.60m and up to CCI4* level. A horse that can take the amateur into the big classes.
