ABOUT

Hermosa is a beautiful, long-lined mare who stands out with her light-footed way of going. She is quick off the ground, is careful and is ready to make her debut in the 1.00m classes.

Her sire, Hardrock Z (Heartbreaker x Carthago), enjoyed a highly successful international career. With Emanuel Andrade he competed at the World Equestrian Games in Caen in 2014 and the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. The pair also finished sixth individually at the Pan American Games in Toronto.

The dam, Damose, a daughter of Circero van Paemel Z, competed at 1.30m level herself and has already produced two international 1.40m jumpers. The granddam, Zamose SR, competed at 1.35m and infuses the influential blood of Chin Chin. She produced five offspring competing at 1.30–1.40m level. The damline traces back to Famose (Grannus x Zeus), who gave three 1.60m GP horses (Simply Grannus, Olisco M and G & C Quick Star) and five jumpers at 1.30m–1.45m level. This line also produced the international showjumping horses Vocas (1.60m), Ronaldo (1.60m) and Boucherom (1.50m).
