Checkpoint is a colt born in 2023, by Conthargos out of a Chacco-Blue damsire. A very complete, long-legged showjumper, only three years old but already showing plenty of effort, tremendous scope, good rideability and lots of balance. He moves well with a good trot, canter and balance and a ground-covering canter, and jumps with good technique, strong technique in front and behind and lots of push off the ground, careful. He takes a good hold towards the fence. A horse with a lovely, friendly character. Very interesting to have in the stable for anyone looking to produce a horse for the top sport. Suitable from amateur to professional.

Checkpoint is himself approved with the Westphalian studbook.

Sire Conthargos jumped 1.35m; as a four-year-old he won the Deister championships with a 9.5 and qualified for the Bundeschampionat, before an injury ended his sport career early. As a showjumping sire he has over 1200 offspring and 20+ approved sons, including:

Damsire Chacco-Blue (1.60m) is one of the best showjumping sires in the world; he jumped 1.60m himself under Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst, with wins including London Olympia, and stood uninterrupted at number 1 on the WBFSH ranking of showjumping stallions from 2017 through 2022.
