Big Star is well represented in this auction. Not only because he belongs to the world’s best showjumping horses, having won Olympic gold twice under Nick Skelton, but also because he was owned by Alan Waldman and Mario Everse. Big Star was already a remarkable talent at a young age.
This foal also received top sport genes from Zirocco Blue VDL, Lux Z and Nimmerdor. Dam Geisha M is an elite-awarded mare who performed at 1.35m level. She is a half-sister of the KWPN stallion Farfan M (1.40m level showjumping) and the international 1.45m level showjumping horse Washington ridden by Valeria Burzakova (RSU).
Grandam Juweel (Nimmerdor) produced in combination with Calvados the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Socrates and the 1.50m level placed Wimbledon. This family produced many (inter)national showjumping horses, such as Gancia de Muze (1.60m level under Niels Bruynseels) and the KWPN licensed stallion Lancelot (1.60m level).
