He jumps as you may expect when you see his pedigree. With a fast take-off and a lot of scope. The 3-yr-old Opstar van den Hout is a largel-framed showjumping horse with a beautiful future ahead.

Sire Ipsthar is 9-yr-old and already successful in 1.60m Grand Prix’s with Bas Moerings. He is a grandson of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Ralvesther himself, who booked good results in the USA. Ralvesther is a half-sister of the 1.60m GP horses Twisther and Manchester.

Dam Katinka descends from Action-Breaker (Heartbreaker), who finished third in the Grand Prix in Aachen. She is a half-sister of Zephire (1.60m Grand Prix) and First Finch FH (1.45m level). Opstar’s grandam Silvia (Animo x Nimmerdor) is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Malle Quibus.
