CARMARINA

ABOUT

Carmarina (Carmarino VA x Chopin VA) is another of those interesting mares that come straight from the breeder. She has fine blood, is light-footed and has a cool character. She jumps in a good style: very easily, with scope, good push-off and nice front leg technique.

She has a lot of overview at the fence. A clever horse: she knows where the pole is, so she rarely touches a rail and makes few mistakes. She takes a big fence with ease.

She trots easily and has a big canter. A nice loose horse, also to watch. Carmarina is four years old and not yet backed. A mare who could go on to jump a big course later on, and one of our team's favourites on the video day.

Sire
Carmarino VA is a Holsteiner premium stallion and a son of Carbol VA.

Dam
Lady Like VA is a daughter of Chopin VA.

Granddam
Cool White VA, by Cassini I, jumped 1.35m herself and also produced Cabat VA (1.30m).

Dam line
Third dam First Lady III jumped 1.60m. Fourth dam Treue is the source of:
• Lagretto – 1.60m
• Castelino van de Helle – 1.60m, approved SBS
• Dodo 53 – 1.60m
• Cassian 7 – 1.55m

Carmarina combines her blood and her overview at the fence with a Holsteiner damline that has produced horses up to 1.60m generation after generation.
