UNICORN

ABOUT

With quality over fences, a big stride and a calm temperament, Unicorn is an outstanding two-year-old.

Sire United Way jumped at 1.50m level and is bred out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Carassina. His granddam is the legendary broodmare Wodka II, dam of multiple 1.60m Grand Prix horses.

Dam Malva, a six-year-old by Del’Arko d’Henvet (1.45m level), comes from a strong damline.
Granddam Tara XV (Cash and Carry) gave five international showjumping horses, including Gleinkerau’s di Caprio (1.50m level with Thomas Himmelmayer), Cracklin’ Rosie (1.40m), two horses at 1.30m and 1.35m level and the approved premium stallion Cornet’s Caruso (1.25m level at age seven with Thomas Brandt).

Great-granddam My Girl III (La Zarras) gave three approved stallions (Cumthago, Guintero C and Izar C) and two sport horses (Napoleon C at 1.50m level, and Forever C jumping 1.45m level courses). The 1.60m GP stallions Carthago Z and Cinnamon 3 also come from this line.

For horses younger than 24 months, it is not mandatory with us to take X-rays. At this age, horses are still in full development and their joints are not yet fully matured. If any abnormalities are suspected during the clinical examination, this will be noted in the clinical report and/or additional X-rays will be taken for further investigation.

This horse was already auctioned and awarded last month, but unfortunately the buyer did not meet his obligations. This is of course very disappointing for both the seller and the auction, because reliability and agreements made are of great importance to us. Important to know: this does not detract from the horse itself. It remains a fantastic horse with an honest character, a correct veterinary inspection and the talent that he shows again and again. Although re-offering can sometimes give the wrong impression, we fully support this horse. In our opinion, a unique opportunity for those looking for a better horse!
