KAVAN Z

ABOUT

The 3-yr-old Kavan Z was taken straight from the fields for the video day. He was as green as grass, but every jump he took was better than the one before. He became more and more convincing. Which is no surprise, in view of his background.

His sire Kassander van ’t Roosakker is a direct son of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Electra van ’t Roosakker, ridden by Jos Lansink.

His dam Gamorka Z is by Galisco van Paemel (Cicero Z van Paemel), who, as an 8-yr-old, already jumped his first 1.55-1.60m Grand Prix under Nick Vrins (BEL) and later started in the Bolivarian Games under Alessandra Battilana (PER).

Grandam Belle Amorka (Ceasar Z x Calvados) also supplied the international 1.30m level horse Domingo Z and is a half-sister to the 1.50m level horse Amorka (Canezaro). Close relatives are the 1.60m GP horses San Diego, Caritoux Z and Christian Grey.
